A lovely illustrated book that shows us that while love is a free gift, it is something we should protect, and not take for granted. I loved how the illustrations show many different ways that love is expressed – many being ways we may forget. Cummings and Busse have come together to create another stellar book for assisting parents in sharing life’s many ups and downs and how to find the good in the downs, and celebrate the ups!

This gorgeously illustrated book gives readers the important message and reminder that love is for everyone, love is to be freely shared and given, and love is everywhere in in countless formats. The illustrations show different ways that people can love each other–family, friends, marriage/dating–as well as the world around them. This book would make excellent discussion starters for parents/caregivers and their children they love to talk about how to recognize as well as give the gift of love.
